C-Card - Welcome

The way in which you obtain free condoms is changing
– C-Card has arrived in Kirklees

Some of you may have accessed or may be currently accessing condoms and sexual health information through services such as Young People’s Service, Connexions, school and college nurses, health centres and the Contraception and Sexual Health (CaSH) clinic.

You will still be able to access condoms from services such as these, and more, but you will have to sign up for a Kirklees C-Card first. Over time these venues will be transferring over to the C-Card scheme.

Details of where you can access C-Card can be found on the C-Card 'Access Point' section of this website. Until all venues have transferred over to C-Card still also please use the ‘Essential Condom Info’ section on the KYPF homepage to find out where else you can access condoms and some tips for condom use.

Getting free condoms and sexual health information does not mean young people have to have sex, or be having sex, it’s about being prepared and getting clued up about safer sex!

By joining the C-Card scheme you can be sure that you are getting help and support from people who are experienced in talking about sex and condoms – they won't be embarrassed so you don’t need to be either!
